This Kenya Uganda Rwanda safari will take you to the best un-spoilt safari destinations in Kenya, Uganda and Rwanda. The tour starts in Nairobi Kenya, proceed to Uganda and ends in Kigali Rwanda. You will track for gorillas twice in Uganda and Rwanda, take game drives, excellent birding, boat trips, cultural excursions and city tours in Kigali and Nairobi among others.

Detailed Itinerary
 Day 1: Arrival into Kenya
Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta Airport, you will meet your tour guide (Our company representative) and then transfer you to your Hotel in Nairobi for a welcome meal, briefing about this great adventure safari. If time allows, take a city tour in Nairobi. Dinner and Overnight at the Sliver springs Hotel or Nairobi Safari Club.

Day 2: Nairobi – Masai Mara Game Reserve
After early breakfast at the Hotel, leave Nairobi and drive through the Great Rift Valley to the world’s famous Masai Mara game reserve, reach there by Lunch time at Fairmont Mara Safari Club.  Take an afternoon game viewing drive to see a variety of wild animals including the Big Five, later go for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Masai Mara National Park
The whole day will be spent here exploring the hidden treasures of Masai Mara National Park. Along the game drives, expect to easily see rare animals such as Lions, Leopard, Jackals, plus many others such as Rhinos, Hippos, Crocodiles, Giraffe, Wildebeests, Zebras, Buffalo, Warthogs, Hyenas, Wild dogs, several antelope species and Elephant among others. Also expect excellent birding with over 450 Bird species identified.
After lunch, take a cultural tour among the Masai Communities and explore more about the Masai Culture. Additionally, Balloon Excursions can be arranged.
All meals and overnight stay at Fairmont Mara Safari Club or Mara Enchoro Camp.

Day 4: Masai Mara National Park - Nairobi
Depart Masai Mara for Nairobi after breakfast. Have lunch in Nairobi Safari Club or Silver springs Hotel. You can relax in the evening at the Hotel or take a walk around the city as you wait for dinner and overnight.

Day 5:  Nairobi – Entebbe – Queen Elizabeth National Park
This is the day to prepare yourself for a flight from Nairobi (Kenya) to Entebbe Airport (Uganda). Meet your driver guide at the airport and then transfer to Kampala (lunch) and then Queen Elizabeth National Park (5-7hrs). You will have a stopover at the Equator for photographs and arrive in the park by Evening. Dinner and Overnight stay in Mweya Safari lodge or Simba Safari Camp.

Day 6:  Game drive / Boat cruise
Get up early for a cup of tea or coffee and take a morning game drive to Kasenyi plains to catch up with early raisers and predators returning to their hideouts. You will be exposed to animals like Elephants, Buffaloes, Warthogs, and several Antelope species, Lion, leopards and many more. Return to your lodge for full breakfast and relax as we wait for lunch.
After lunch, Proceed for a launch cruise along the Kazinga channel, known for the highest concentration of Hippos in Africa. Bird life is prolific with over 600 species and hundreds of Nile crocodiles. You will also see herds of Elephants and Buffaloes drinking water on the channel. The boat cruise provides a clear platform for photographing in this bird watcher’s paradise. Dinner and overnight at Mweya safari lodge or Simba Safari Camp
Day 7: Queen Elizabeth Park – Bwindi
Depart Queen Elizabeth for Bwindi through the Ishasha sector famous for tree-climbing lions. Arrive in Bwindi by lunch time; relax at Gorilla resort or Kitandara Camps as we wait for lunch, dinner and overnight.

Day 8: Gorilla tracking Bwindi
After early breakfast, proceed to park headquarters with packed lunch for a briefing about the ‘Dos’ and ‘Don’ts’ while with gorillas. Tracking can take 2-9 hours depending on their movements. Tracking involves walking up through steep and densely forested hills before finally coming across the gorillas camouflaged in the vegetation. You will stay with these Giant apes for 1 hour for observation and photography.
If the evening is free, we can take a cultural walk to nearby Batwa communities and learn about their cultures. Dinner and overnight stay in Gorilla Forest or Buhoma Homestead.

Day 9:  Cross Boarder to Rwanda (Parc National des Volcans)
after breakfast, depart for Rwanda for another gorilla tracking excursion. Crossing Rwanda border requires $60 visa fee (for those who require Visa), arrive at the Gorilla Nest resort or Kinigi Guest House by late afternoon. Relax at the lodge as you get ready for the next days magical experience of gorilla tracking.

Day 10: Gorilla tracking Rwanda
Have breakfast and transfer to Kinigi station for a 30 minutes briefing about Gorilla tracking, then continue for the trek with packed lunch and water. If time allows, you take an excursion to Dianne Fossey graves. Return for dinner and over night at the lodge.

Day 11: Depart for city tour in Kigali
It is just 2-3 hours drive from Kinigi to Kigali. The journey goes through beautiful rolling hills of Rwanda. Kigali city tour involves visits to Genocide memorial site, Nyamata Church, Local art and crafts markets, Kigali fruit markets and so on. Dinner and overnight Hotel des Mille collines or Novotel Umubano hotel.

Day 12: Kigali City tour – Departure
This is your final day of your safari, it’s the day to say farewell to your fellow travelers, tour guides and the countries that have been your home for the past 11 days. Depending on your departure flight, you will be picked at Hotel and transfer to Kigali International Airport.
